How Instalocate got me $734.53 in compensation for an ugly 14-hour flight delay!

Many phone calls, cries and arguments later, I finally reached my destination in an ‘alternate’ British Airways flight, having lost two days of a short leave, and a great deal of ‘inner peace’.

Now, despite my frequent flying, I wasn’t aware of my rights in case of a flight delay. Delta had booked me through KLM originally, so trying to hold either accountable in any way was looking near-impossible.
